My Inventor doesnt start at all. All that happens is a flash of the startup screen of Inventor, and then nothing. The Task Manager is also not showing any Inventor. Please help. I have run Inventor for over a month now. I was working in it this morning, then when I went to open excel to work on something else, excel was freezing and when I went to close it, a weird table was open that looked similar to an Inventor content center table.

I was not working in content center at the time so it seemed weird that it was open all of the sudden. Once I closed excel, Inventor closed by itself. I have restarted my computer a few times and still nothing. I have been on hold with Autodesk support for 25 minutes still waiting to talk to someone.

For safe keeping you should backup the information before performing a clean uninstall. The uninstall would only remove program files and not files that you created. Another thing you can do is to log onto your machine as another user and see if Inventor launches or not.

When i try to open inventor free trial it shows me how many Autodesk Inventor Certified Professional & not an Autodesk Employee. product. When i try to open inventor free trial it shows me how many days of the trial ive used but when I click start free trial it closes then. The problem is that the Developer Tools install that comes with Inventor doesn’t install add-in templates for Visual Studio
